This course is an introduction to the studio lighting workflow from a unique angle. Organized and given in montreal by Karim Ben Jemaa, a portraitist photographer and recorded at K-studio, it offers a deep dive into the studio lighting creative process.
Step by step, 15 experienced photographers collaborate to figure out the best way to light up three different intricate concepts. Angles, modifiers and strobe intensity are discussed along the process. This course is a real studio life experience. It covers the technical aspects of working with strobes, identifies potential problems and solves them, as well as prepares the viewer to working efficiently under constraints and tight schedules.
Besides it's s great educational value, this course features an impressive cast. 20 of the best artists in town, models, Mua's stylists, who gave their time and effort to make it one of the most colorful workshops in town.
The course is presented in both French and English, Montreal style. Sometime we speak English with French subtitles, and vice-versa.
